  • Length: 25–30 minutes

GOALS

After completing this course you will be able to:

  • Organize your data by moving, hiding, and resizing the columns in a datasheet.
  • Make your data easier to read by formatting it — changing the gridline style and background color, changing the format of the text, and resizing the rows in a datasheet.

ABOUT THIS COURSE

This course includes:

  • One self-paced lesson and one practice session for hands-on experience. The practice requires Access 2007. You cannot complete the practice session in an earlier version of Access.
  • A short test at the end of each lesson; tests are not scored.
  • A Quick Reference Card you can take away from the course.
AUDIO TEXT

A datasheet is a grid of rows and columns that displays the information that's in your database tables.

Access 2007 makes it easy and fast to organize and format your datasheets. You can move and hide columns, and change the visual look and feel of your data with just a few mouse clicks.

Organizing and formatting your data makes it easier to read and understand and can help the people who use your database get more done.
