Overview
Moving data graphic

When you use data graphics in Microsoft Office Visio Professional 2007, they give the data in your diagram a strong visual payoff. But you need to know something else: how to position them so that they don't crowd the page.

Don’t have the 2007 Office release? You can download a free 60-day trial or buy it now.

  • Length: 30–40 minutes

GOALS

After completing this course you will be able to:

  • Change the position of data graphics for just some shapes or for all shapes on the page.
  • Identify and solve crowding problems.

ABOUT THIS COURSE

This course includes:

  • One self-paced lesson and one practice session for hands-on experience. The practice requires Office Visio Professional 2007.
  • A short test at the end of each lesson; tests are not scored.
  • A Quick Reference Card you can take away from the course.
AUDIO TEXT

Link data to diagrams II explained how to use data graphics to show your data effectively. But you may need to fine-tune your data graphics. One way to do that is to place them on the page the way you want — without settling for their default positions. Also, data graphics can crowd the page, so repositioning them can make the diagram easier to read.
