GOALS

  • Identify a shape's text block.
  • Use the Text Block tool to position text on or nearby a shape.
  • Resize and rotate text for a shape.
  • Put text along a curve.
  • Know the limitations concerning how Visio text can be positioned and arranged.

You've added text to a shape. But something's not quite right. Maybe the text is on top of the shape, and you want it under. Maybe it's being skewered by a connector, and you want it hovering above it.
