Getting HTML tables to look good can be a difficult task. This course (the second in a three-course series) explains how to manage the widths of tables and their cells using Microsoft® Office FrontPage® 2003.

COURSE TEXT

It's probably fair to say that one of the most misunderstood elements in Web design is HTML tables. In fact, the most difficult part usually involves controlling the width of your tables.

This course will focus on table and cell widths. When you're done, you'll understand how to manage them effectively. You'll also have the basic principles necessary for using HTML tables for page layout.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Before you start, we recommend taking the course HTML Tables I: Basic concepts. Also, we recommend having the following:

  • A basic knowledge of HTML.
  • A basic knowledge of opening, editing, and saving HTML pages.
