Learn how to attach pictures and other files to your Microsoft Office Outlook e-mail messages to show and share information. Understand some of the issues with attachments so that you can be safe, avoid the pain, and enjoy the benefits.

GOALS

After completing this course you will be able to:

  • Open and view pictures and attachments safely.
  • Print pictures and attachments that you receive.
  • Organize messages with attachments to make them easy to find (even if you've filed them away in folders in your mailbox).
  • Know your choices for including pictures and files with your e-mail messages so that you can send them the way you want to.
  • Avoid sending a blocked attachment. (And know what to tell the sender if you receive a message with one.)

COURSE TEXT

Do you want to see your pictures right next to the text of your e-mail messages? When you send or receive messages with attachments, are you often confronted with frightening warnings? Maybe attachments are completely blocked for you. Why is that?

When you send pictures or files in e-mail, there are a few basics you should always keep in mind. By understanding the issues and by knowing your options, you'll be able to send and receive pictures and attachments with confidence and ease.
