Form in InfoPath  

Discover four frequently used techniques for customizing controls in InfoPath. Learn about and work with views, conditional formatting, rules, functions, and other useful form-design features. Don't worry if you don't know what those things are; by the end of the course, you will.

COURSE TEXT

Controls are an essential part of any InfoPath form, so it's helpful to know how to work with them effectively. In this course you'll learn assorted, popular techniques for customizing form controls.

In particular, you'll learn how to create buttons that let people switch between views; how to display dates and times in text boxes and date pickers; how to hide or disable text boxes or sections; and how to calculate totals in a repeating table. Feel free to pick and choose from the lessons that interest you.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

This course is intended for beginning-to-intermediate form designers. If you're looking for more advanced training, you can refer to the InfoPath hands-on training exercises on the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) Web site.

You must upgrade to Microsoft Office InfoPathâ„¢ 2003 Service Pack 1 to be able to complete the practice sessions. In addition, service pack features must be enabled on your computer.
