Chances are, you've heard of XML, and you've probably heard some reasons why you should use it to store your data. But what is XML, exactly, and how does it work? This course explains the basics: what XML is, what it does, and some of the benefits of using it.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

The practices for this course require that you have Microsoft Office Excel 2003 and Microsoft Office Word 2003, or that you have Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003. You cannot complete the practices by using the versions of Excel and Word in Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003.
