In "HTML Tables I" and "II" you learned how to insert tables, and you learned how table and cell widths work. You did all of this using rather simple tables. But now you need to design an entire Web page.
You could use the methods learned so far, but wouldn't it be great if there was a more visual, more flexible way?
That's where
layout tables, new in FrontPage 2003, come to the rescue. As you'll soon see, layout tables have the same structure and rules as the other tables you've worked with. But they also come with certain benefits that make designing Web pages easier.
