COURSE TEXT

In this course, learn about four excellent features in PowerPoint that you should add to your everyday toolkit.

The newest of these, Package for CD, gives you a slick way to copy presentations and other files to a CD.

You'll also learn how to reuse a template you've customized; use the title master slide to vary the slide design in a show; and optimize images, such as photos, to keep file sizes small.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

To package to a CD from PowerPoint, you must have Microsoft Windows XP or later and a CD burner. If you have Windows 2000, you can still use this feature to package the presentation files to a folder, and then use a third-party program to burn the folder to a CD.
