Battle mailbox size by learning how to manage your Microsoft® Outlook® mailbox and keep it within a specific size limitation.

GOALS

After completing this course you will be able to:

  • View the size of your mailbox and its subfolders.
  • Understand what makes an e-mail message big.
  • Move and archive messages so that they're not stored in your mailbox.
  • Set up some simple processes to prevent e-mail pileup from happening in the first place.

Are you getting weekly or even daily messages from your system administrator saying that you need to reduce the size of your mailbox? Space is limited, so it may be time to take action.

Some e-mail service providers won't deliver any new mail to an overstuffed mailbox. Or worse, they'll just take matters into their own hands and delete the old stuff for you. If you need to cut your mailbox down to size, here's help.
