About cell properties

HTML table with background color for the table, and different background colors for cells
Callout 1 This cell has a background of purple, which overrides the table's yellow background.
Callout 2 These cells have a background of blue, which overrides the table's yellow background.
COURSE TEXT

You just saw how you can specify properties that affect the entire table. Now we'll cover the properties you can specify at the cell level.

Cell properties are handy when you want to make a change to one or more cells, but you don't want to affect the entire table. For example, the background for this table is yellow, but the top cell is purple, and the cells in the top row are blue.
