Enter birthdays and anniversaries

Belated card from last year, Reminder, on-time card this year

Let Outlook remind you, and you'll send your cards on time this year.

COURSE TEXT

We all have different feelings towards birthdays: for some people, birthdays are regrettable because they just keep happening; for others, birthdays are always reason for celebration. However you feel, you'll see that Outlook is a great way to keep track of the dates that you want to remember.

Outlook treats birthdays and anniversaries in a completely logical and unemotional way: to Outlook a birthday or an anniversary is simply an all-day event that recurs yearly on a specific date. In this lesson you'll learn how to enter such events in your Outlook calendar. You'll also learn how to set a reminder, to notify you of each occasion well in advance.
