When you are the meeting organizer

The person who sets up the meeting is the meeting organizer.

COURSE TEXT

As the meeting organizer, you are the one who is in control of the meeting. You invite people to the meeting, arrange for a place to meet, and choose the meeting's time and duration.

In the old days, with your planner in hand, you may have called people on the phone or walked down the hall and spoken to them in person. These methods work well if the people are there or if you aren't planning a big meeting. But what if people aren't available when you call or come by? Phone messages and sticky notes aren't always efficient, especially if you are trying to reach a big group. And what if you have to reschedule?

Outlook can help. Read on to learn how.
