Design view provides a couple of handy ways to work with specific tags in a page.

So far this course has shown you how to work with HTML code in both Split view and Code view. However, it's good to know that you can work with code in Design view as well.

That's right. Design view isn't just for working with the design and layout of the page. In fact, in Design view you can reveal and discover the tags behind smaller, specific parts of the page.
