The basics: What are Search Folders and how do I use them?

Although it looks similar, a Search Folder is different from a folder.

A Search Folder combines the power of searching with the convenience of a folder. Perhaps you file your messages according to the projects they're associated with, but you'd also like to view them according to who sent them. Search Folders let you do this, and a lot more. Learn to use Search Folders and you'll see that even if you can't be in two places at once, your e-mail messages can be.
