How to research


Click Research on the Tools menu to open the Research task pane

Imagine that you'd like to know more about how to read financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements. You'll start by using the Research service in Word.

First, the essentials: Click Research on the Tools menu to open the Research task pane. A small window lines up beside your document, leaving you plenty of room to continue your work.
