Passwords are your first line of defense in protecting your computer and your documents from malicious attacks. Strong passwords make it more difficult for anyone else to gain access to your files. You can password-protect individual Office documents to prevent others from seeing or editing them.

This lesson is all about the password options available to you in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. It also includes some basic guidelines on creating and using strong passwords.
