Fix install error code 0-3

Error code 0-3 can occur if a previous install of Office failed. To fix the problem, follow these steps:

  1. Close the error message and restart your computer.
  2. Run this Fix it. It will remove previous installs of Office 2013 or Office 365.

Uninstall Office 2013 or Office 365

Important    When you click the Fix it, a dialog box appears that provides options to Open, Save or Cancel. If you click Open you might have problems running the Fix it. Instead, click Save in the File Download dialog box. When the download is done, click Open folder, find the file (the name of the file should start with “O15CTRRemove”) and double-click it to run the Fix it.

  1. Once the Fix it has successfully removed Office 2013 or Office 365, try to install Office again.
