PowerPoint for the web opens files in Normal view so that you can design and edit individual slides.
If you want to watch the slide show full screen, select Slide Show > Play from Beginning.
(If you've turned off the Simplified Ribbon, you don't have a Slide Show tab; instead use the View tab to start the slide show.)
To see slides in a grid on the screen so you can better organize and reorder them, use Slide Sorter view. Go to the status bar at the bottom of the screen and select the Slide Sorter view button
