How do I open these Quick Start Guides?
If you’re using Windows 8 Choosing Download Guide opens the guide directly in the Windows 8 Reader app, where you can view it, print it out, and save it for later reference.
If you’re using Windows 7 or earlier Before you can view the guide, you’ll need to download and install the free Adobe Reader app. If you’ve already done this and are having trouble displaying the guide in your browser, try this instead:
- Right-click or touch and hold the Download Guide button, and then click Save target as (on some browsers this is called Save link as).
- Save the PDF file to your desktop, and then open it in your PDF reader.
How do I log in to the Office 365 for Business portal?
You can use the browser on your device and go to Office 365 sign-in (portal.microsoftonline.com) and sign in with your Office 365 user ID and password.
How do I set up POP or IMAP email on my device?
You can find details for setting up POP or IMAP and the server name for SMTP in Set up email on Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
Is there an Outlook app for my iPhone or iPad?
You can download the OWA for iPhone or OWA for iPad app. For more information on using these apps see OWA for iPad and OWA for iPhone.
You can also sign in to the Outlook Web App using your Safari browser. Simply Sign in to Office 365 with your Office 365 user ID and password.
How do I get Office on my iPad?
To install Office on your iPad you need to install the individual apps, Word for iPad, Excel for iPad, and PowerPoint for iPad from the Apple Store. These apps are available free with a valid Office 365 subscription plan. See Set up Office for iPad with Office 365 for business.
Why can’t I edit documents on my iPad?
You can view documents on your iPad, but if you want to create and edit documents you must have a valid Office 365 subscription. For a list of supported Office 365 business plans, see Set up Office for iPad with Office 365 for business.
How do I use Lync on my device?

How do I my view documents on SharePoint team sites or OneDrive for Business?
You can download the OneDrive for Business app (formerly called SkyDrive Pro) for the iPhone or iPad or use your device’s browser and type the URL for your OneDrive for Business library. For more information on the app, see Use the OneDrive for Business app on an iPhone or iPad.
