Steps to create Personal Folders in Navigation Pane

How to create Personal Folders.

To use a Personal Folders file, you first need to create it. We've shown a summary of this process and the result in the picture. You'll get a chance to go through the complete process for yourself in the practice at the end of this lesson.

Callout 1 Start from the File menu in the main Outlook window, and point to New.
Callout 2 Click Outlook Data File.
Callout 3 Select Office Outlook Personal Folders File (.pst).
Callout 4 Once you've gone through the process of creating the new Personal Folders storage file, you'll see the result in the Navigation Pane below Mailbox.
