You can leave comments to communicate questions and suggestions. It's easy to find comments and jump between them by clicking Next or Previous.

You can drop in comments at any point by highlighting the relevant text and clicking New Comment.

If you want the option to see changes later, and just focus on the current text now, choose a different view (like Final). You can always switch back to Show Markup to see all the changes.

It's easy keep track of changes in your document. The vertical line on the left shows a change has been made in this line, additions are marked with color and an underline, and deletions are marked with a strikethrough.

You can accept or reject changes with one click. Though they are easily found at a glance, you don't have to look for them. Just click Next to find the next one.

You can see when someone else is working on the document at the same time as you are.

If someone made changes that conflict with your edits, Word 2010 will notify you of these conflicts and will help you solve them.
