You can undo and redo up to 100 actions in Microsoft Office programs, such as Microsoft Office Word 2007, Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007, Microsoft Office Excel 2007, and Microsoft Office Access 2007. You can repeat actions as many times as you want.

Undo the last action or actions that you made
To undo an action, do one or more of the following:

- Some actions can't be undone, such as clicking any Office Button
command or saving a file. If you can't undo an action, the Undo command changes to Can't Undo. - In Excel, macros can clear all items from the undo list.

Excel
The Repeat command
is not available on the Quick Access Toolbar by default. If you want to repeat the last action, you need to add the Repeat command to the Quick Access Toolbar first.
- Add the Repeat command to the Quick Access Toolbar by doing the following:
- Click Office Button
, and then click Excel Options. - Click Customize.
- Under Choose commands from, click Popular Commands.
- In the list of commands, click Repeat, and then click Add.
- Click OK.
- Repeat the last action by clicking Repeat
on the Quick Access Toolbar.
Keyboard shortcut You can also press CTRL+Y.
Note Some actions, such as using a function in a cell, cannot be repeated. If you can't repeat the last action, the Repeat command changes to Can't Repeat.
