Change color of ink
 

Do one of the following:

ShowChange ink color on a desktop or laptop computer

  1. Click the ink (ink: The writing or drawing strokes made with a tablet pen or mouse.).
  2. On the Drawing toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, click Customize on the Tools menu, and then click the Toolbars tab.), click the arrow next to Line Color Button image, and then click the color you want to use.

ShowChange ink color on a Tablet PC

  1. Select the ink (ink: The writing or drawing strokes made with a tablet pen or mouse.) you want to format.

    ShowHow?

    1. On the Ink Drawing and Writing or Ink Annotations toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, click Customize on the Tools menu, and then click the Toolbars tab.), tap Select Objects.
    2. Tap the ink.

      Sizing handles and an outline of the ink shapes indicate that the ink is selected.

  2. On the Ink Drawing and Writing or Ink Annotations toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, click Customize on the Tools menu, and then click the Toolbars tab.), tap the arrow next to Line Color Button image .
  3. Tap the color you want to use.

ShowTip

After you select a color, the Line Color button displays that color. You can apply the same color again to any ink selection by clicking or tapping Line Color again.
