Upgrade to Word 2007 and have a bunch of documents that were created with a previous version of Word? Looking to convert them into Word 2007 documents to take advantage of the new Word file format? When you open a document that was created with a previous version of Word in Microsoft Office Word 2007, Compatibility Mode will be turned on. This enables you to work on the document as you normally would, but you cannot take advantage of all the features of Word 2007. This video shows you how to open and convert those earlier files into Word 2007 files.
