Office Online's accessibility survival guide

Just as disability takes many forms, so too does assistive technology. That's why, every other Monday, the Accessibility Advocate column explores living with disability, its challenges as well as strides gained.

We cover a range of disability both overt and hidden, chronic and temporary, including:

  • visual
  • auditory
  • physical
  • speech
  • cognitive
  • neurological
  • developmental

A variety of voices and perspectives contribute to this conversation, from the people who depend on assistive technology to the people who create it and beyond.

Mission

The Accessibility Advocate's mission is straightforward: to shine a light on the people and tools that make work and life easier for people living with disability. We'll talk about what's new in assistive technology, and what's on the horizon. Here you'll find out about everything from the latest advancements in screen-reading technology to the new thinking about ADHD.
