Worm.Explore.Zip E-mail Virus

The Worm.Explore.Zip virus is contained in a file attached to e-mail. The e-mail message may appear as if it is from an acquaintance and ask you to look at the attached zipped documents. When you open the attachment, the virus executes. Because the virus does not execute automatically, you should delete the message immediately without opening the attachment. Users should also install the latest anti-virus software, as well as update the e-mail attachment security in Outlook. See our E-mail Attachment Virus Alert for more information, as well as for links to Microsoft security updates and anti-virus vendors.
