Use Visio drawings in presentations, documents, and publications

Insert menu, Object command, and Edit menu, Paste Special command

To take advantage of all three methods for adding Visio drawings to presentations, documents, and publications, you only have to learn two commands on two different menus: the Object command on the Insert menu, and the Paste Special command on the Edit menu.

Learning how to link, embed, or paste a drawing as a picture is easy because you only have to familiarize yourself with two commands on two menus. And, since the menus and commands for these tasks are virtually identical across all Office programs, once you've mastered the commands in one program you'll be able to use them in the others as well.

In this lesson, you'll learn the steps you take to embed, link, or paste a drawing as a picture.
