When you install Microsoft Office Professional Plus with subscription licensing, you must verify your subscription by signing in with your Microsoft Online Services ID and password.
To verify your subscription, you must have the Microsoft Online Services Sign-in Assistant installed on your computer. If you don’t have the Sign-in Assistant installed on your computer, Office attempts to install it for you. If for any reason this installation is not successful, you receive a dialog box with additional instructions.
Important After 30 days of not being verified, your Office product loses all editing functionality, also known as Reduced Functionality mode.
