Resume the mail merge

Before clicking the Practice in Word button, open the Word document that you saved in the previous lesson. Here's how:

  1. Open Word and then click the Microsoft Office Button Office button image and Open.
  2. Locate the document that you saved from the previous lesson, select it, and then click Open again.
  3. To reconnect to the recipient list, click OK in the message dialog box that appears.

You've decided to include a coupon in the marketing letter to your customers. You'll need to add fields that are more complex in order to number the coupons and include special instructions to your customers.

About the practice session

When you click Practice in Word, a practice document will download to your computer and open in Word, and a separate window with practice instructions will appear.

Note     You need to have Word 2007 installed on your computer.
