Decorate your newsletter with clip art, photos, and borders.
Now comes the fun part: Jazz up your letter with decorations and pictures. Here are some ideas:
- Create a border around the page.
- Include a watermark or background image.
- Include some clip art.
- Insert a family photo and then add a border to it.

Don't go over the top with decorations; you still want people to be able to read the text. Consider how you're going to print the letter (if you're printing it at all—or is it going to be e-mailed?), and don't overload it with colored graphics if you're working with a basic home color printer.
