Change a callout leader

You can change the leaders (leader: A line that draws the reader's eye from a callout to the appropriate part of the illustration.) of line callouts. Leaders from nonline callouts, such as the cloud, cannot be changed.

1. Click the callout whose leader you want to format.
2. On the Format menu, click AutoShape, and then click the Text Box tab.
3. Click Format Callout.
4. Select the options you want.
