Some of the many ways to add details to headers and footers.
There are two more buttons on the Header and Footer toolbar that are useful for adding information about the document in the header or footer. They are the Insert Date button
and the Insert Time button
. These buttons insert dynamic information that is updated to the present date and time every time the document is opened, so it's easy to see when a document has been updated.
However, if you only want to have the date the document was created in the header or footer, then just type the creation date in so that it's not updated by Word.
Don't forget: You can use all the usual text formatting features as well. For example, make the title stand out with a larger font and boldface.
