Add or change the name used in comments

Try Office 2010 In Word 2010, more than one person can edit a document at the same time.

Do one of the following:

ShowComments in documents

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the User Information tab.
  2. In the Initials box, type the initials or name that you want to use in your own comments.

ShowComments in an e-mail message

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the General tab.
  2. Click E-mail Options, and then click the Personal Stationery tab.
  3. Do one of the following:

 Note   Only text you type next to the previously written text in a message will have your name next to it.
