Decorative background on a Web page.
Web page backgrounds can take a number of forms:
- Solid color.
- Texture, such as different color marble or woodgrain effects.
- Patterns, such as stripes or checkerboards.
- A picture from your hard disk.
To choose and add a background, use the Fill Effects command to open the Fill Effects dialog box (also on the Format menu, Background submenu).
You'll get a chance to experiment with backgrounds in the practice session.
Note In Microsoft Office Word 2003 you can print your Web page including the background. If you wish to do this, on the Tools menu, click Options, click the Print tab, and then in the Include with document section select the Background colors and images check box.
