Tony Northrup, MVP, MCSE, and CISSP, is a technology consultant and author living in the Boston, Massachusetts, area. He has been working with Microsoft Office products since they were first released in the early 1990s and has used the flexibility built into Microsoft Office products to build tools to improve the efficiency and productivity of every organization he has worked for. Tony was a developer for many years and now uses his knowledge to extend the capabilities of Microsoft Office products by using macros and custom code. Having extensive experience managing servers, Tony can build tools by using the latest generation of Microsoft Office System servers, including Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, and Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005.
Tony enjoys sharing his knowledge and experiences, and has written dozens of books and articles about using Microsoft Windows and Internet technologies. When he's not consulting or writing, Tony enjoys cycling, hiking, and nature photography.
