Restore a file to a previous version

  1. On the page that displays the library, in the row (row: In a SharePoint list, the horizontal selection of data (for example, all of the information about one contact in the Contacts list).) where the name of the file appears, point to the file, click the triangle on the bar that appears, and then click Version History on the menu that appears.
  2. In the Modified column, point to the version of the file that you want to restore, click the triangle on the bar that appears, and then click Restore on the menu that appears.
  3. When prompted to confirm that you want to replace the current version of the file with the previous version, click OK.
