About Meeting Workspace Templates

When creating a Meeting Workspace site, you can choose from five templates:

  • Basic Meeting Workspace    This template includes all the basics to plan, organize, and track your meeting. The template contains the following lists and their associated Web Parts: Objectives, Attendees, Agenda, and Document Library.
  • Blank Meeting Workspace    This template creates a blank Meeting Workspace site for you to customize based on your requirements.
  • Decision Meeting Workspace    This template includes features for reviewing documents and recording decisions reached at the meeting. The template contains the following lists, library, and their associated Web Parts: Objectives, Attendees, Agenda, Document Library, Tasks, and Decisions.
  • Social Meeting Workspace    This template helps you plan social occasions. It features a discussion board and a picture library to post pictures of the event. The template contains the following lists, library, and their associated Web Parts: Attendees, Directions, Image/Logo, Things To Bring, Discussions, and Picture Library.
  • Multipage Meeting Workspace    All the basics to plan, organize, and track your meeting with multiple pages. This Meeting Workspace site contains the following lists and their associated Web Parts: Objectives, Attendees, and Agenda. It also contains two blank pages for you to customize based on your requirements.

Although you can't open any of the templates and edit them, you can change the workspace that is created from one of these templates. Once you have customized the workspace site, you can then save it as a template that you and other people can use for the next workspace site.
