When you edit the downloaded files offline, the Word, Excel, or PowerPoint 2007 file will be stored in the SharePoint Drafts folder on your computer. In Windows XP, this is in My Documents. And in Windows Vista, this is in the Documents folder.
Note These same folders are also used when you check out files from a SharePoint library. However, editing files offline with Outlook 2007 is not the same thing as checking out files. Learn next how to check out files to reserve them for your use.
