Glue a shape to a guide
 
  1. Drag a guide (guide, guide point: A reference line you can drag onto the drawing page to position shapes precisely. Drag guides from the rulers, and the guide point from the upper-left corner of the drawing window.) from the horizontal or vertical ruler onto the drawing page, and then release the mouse button.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Snap & Glue.
  3. Under Currently active, make sure that the Glue check box is selected.
  4. Under Glue to, select the Guides check box.
  5. Do one of the following:
  6. When the shape is glued, the endpoint turns red.

    When the shape is glued, the selection handles on the glued part of the shape turn red.
