Snap shapes into position
 
  1. On the Tools menu, click Snap & Glue.
  2. On the General tab, under Currently active, make sure that the Snap check box is selected.
  3. Under Snap to, select the options that you want, and then click OK.
  4. The Ruler subdivisions, Grid, and Guides options are useful for positioning and aligning shapes.

    Under Glue to, the Shape handles (selection handles) and Connection points options are useful for gluing shapes together.

  5. Drag shapes into position.
  6. The snap settings you choose apply to all shapes in the drawing.
