Create an organization chart from an existing data file

  1. On the File menu, point to New, point to Organization Chart, and then click Organization Chart Wizard.
  2. On the first wizard page, click Information that's already stored in a file or database, and then click Next.
  3. Follow the wizard pages to create an organization chart from a data file that you specify.

Note  You can also use the Organization Chart Wizard to create a new Microsoft Office Excel or text data file from which to generate a chart. To do this, on the first page of the wizard, select Information that I enter using the wizard, and then follow the wizard pages to create an organization chart from your new data.
