- Open the Reviewing task pane, if it is not already open.
How
- On the View menu, click Task Pane.
- Click the arrow at the top of the task pane, and then click Reviewing.
- If the text at the top of the Reviewing task pane says Current Reviewer, stop markup tracking by clicking Track Markup at the bottom of the task pane.
- Under Show Markup Overlays, make sure the check box next to the name of each reviewer whose markup you want to delete is selected.
Note If you don't see any reviewers' names, on the View menu, click Markup.
- Do one of the following:
Delete individual markup
- In the markup list, select the markup you want to delete.
Tip
You can use the
Next Markup 
and
Previous Markup 
buttons to scroll through all markup in the document.
- Click Delete Markup
or press DELETE.
Delete all markup for a reviewer on the current page
- On the Reviewing toolbar, click the Delete Markup arrow
, point to Delete Markup Overlays on Current Page, and then click the reviewer's name.
Delete all markup on the current page
- On the Reviewing toolbar, click the Delete Markup arrow
, point to Delete Markup Overlays on Current Page, and then click All on Current Page.
Delete all markup in the document
- On the Reviewing toolbar, click the Delete Markup arrow
, and then click Delete All Markup Overlays in Document.
Note If you want to delete your own markup while you're reviewing the document and Track Markup is enabled, select the markup you want to delete in the markup list on the Reviewing task pane, and then press DELETE.
