About the global interface and Visio Multilingual User Interface Pack

Microsoft Office Visio 2003 Multilingual User Interface Pack adds key multilingual capabilities to those already built into Microsoft Office Visio by providing the translated text for the user interface, Help, wizards, and templates (template: A file or files that contain the structure and tools for shaping such elements as the style and page layout of finished files. For example, Word templates can shape a single document, and FrontPage templates can shape an entire Web site.). By using Microsoft Office Visio 2003 Multilingual User Interface Pack, you're working in the English version of Visio, but you can view commands, dialog box options, Help topics, wizards, and templates in a familiar language.

When you change the language of the user interface or Help, you change it for all Microsoft Office System programs. Changing the language of the user interface does not change the file format of Visio files that you save, nor does it change the program in any other way. You don't need a converter to open files. Some components of Visio do not support changing the language of the user interface or Help.

Microsoft Office Visio 2003 Multilingual User Interface Pack works with Visio running on Microsoft Windows 2000 or later.

Microsoft Office Visio 2003 Multilingual User Interface Pack is on its own CD and has its own installer. To obtain Microsoft Office Visio 2003 Multilingual User Interface Pack, see your system administrator.
