When you search for shapes, your search query is saved in the Search for Shapes box so you can use it again. If you want to keep the found shapes easily accessible, you can save the search results stencil or save individual shapes to a custom stencil.

When saving a shape from the Web, the shape is downloaded from the Internet to the specified stencil on your computer.

The Visio masters (master: A shape on a stencil that you use repeatedly to create drawings. When you drag a shape from a stencil onto the drawing page, the shape becomes an instance of that master.) supplied by Microsoft Corporation are copyrighted. You may copy and reorganize them for your own use, modify them for your own use, and distribute drawings that contain them. However, you may not sell or distribute original or modified Visio masters.
