- Open the Reviewing task pane, if it is not already open.
How
- On the View menu, click Task Pane.
- Click the arrow at the top of the task pane, and then click Reviewing.
- Under Show Markup Overlays, do one of the following:
- To review all markup, click Show All.
- To review markup created by a specific reviewer, clear all check boxes except for the ones next to the names of the reviewers whose markup you want to review.
Note If markup tracking is off and you don't see any reviewers' names, on the View menu, click Markup.
- Select an entry in the markup list to select it on the markup overlay.
Note If Track Markup is enabled and you select markup created by another reviewer, the markup is surrounded by a dashed line on the drawing. You cannot select or make changes to markup added by other reviewers when Track Markup is enabled.
Tips
- To scroll through the markup in sequence, click Next Markup
or Previous Markup
. - When markup tracking is off, you can select all the markup created by a reviewer for the current page by clicking the markup overlay tab for that reviewer.
Notes
To make suggested changes to your drawing, you can copy markup from a markup overlay to your drawing. For some drawing types, however, this can have unexpected results. For best results, use the markup as guidance for making changes directly to your drawing.
To make changes to your original drawing, make sure Track Markup is disabled. If the text at the top of the Reviewing pane says Current Reviewer, click Track Markup at the bottom of the task pane to stop tracking markup.
