You might not have an Internet connection. To activate Microsoft Office Visio electronically, you must have an Internet connection. Alternatively, you can activate by telephone by following the instructions in the Microsoft Office Visio Activation Wizard. To open the wizard, on the Help menu, click Activate Product.

If you do not activate Visio after you install it, Visio starts in Reduced Functionality Mode. In this mode, you will not be able to create new drawings or modify existing drawings, and additional functionality will be reduced. Your existing Visio files will not be harmed. You may activate Visio at any time by running the Microsoft Office Visio Activation Wizard. To open the wizard, on the Help menu, click Activate Product.
