Share a drawing with someone who doesn't have Visio

You can share a Microsoft Office Visio drawing with someone who does not have Visio, as long as they have the Microsoft Office Visio Viewer installed. The Visio Viewer is an ActiveX control that you can use to open and view Visio drawings. When you open a Visio file using the Visio Viewer, the drawing is displayed in a Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 5.0 or later) window.

Note  You and the people you share your drawing with can download the Visio Viewer from the Microsoft Download Center. Drawings created in Microsoft Office Visio Professional 2003 will only open in the Visio Viewer 2003, not in earlier versions.
