Run a macro

Note  Because macros can contain viruses, be careful about running them. Among the precautions you take, be sure to run up-to-date antivirus software on your computer, use digital signatures, and maintain a list of trusted sources of macros.

  1. On the Tools menu, point to Macros, and then click Macros.
  2. In the Macros dialog box, click the name of the macro you want to run.
  3. If you don't see the macro you want to run in the list, select a different document in the Macros in box.

  4. Click Run.
  5. Note  You also can run the macro without using the Macros dialog box by pressing CTRL+key, where key represents the shortcut key you assigned for the macro.
