- Do one of the following:
- On the Shape menu, click Custom Properties, and then do one of the following:
- If a message appears asking if you want to define custom properties, click Yes.
- If the shape already has custom properties and the Custom Properties dialog box appears, click Define.
- Do one of the following:
Add a new custom property
- If the shape already has custom properties, click New.
Note When you open the Define Custom Properties dialog box for a shape that has no custom properties, a new property is added named Property1.
- Define the property as needed in the Label, Type, Language, Format, Calendar, Value, and Prompt boxes.
Edit an existing custom property
- Select the property in the Properties list.
- Make changes to the property as needed in the Label, Type, Language, Format, Calendar, Value, and Prompt boxes.
Delete a custom property
- Select the property in the Properties list.
- Click Delete.
Note Many shapes have predefined custom properties. It's best not to delete these custom properties, because they can affect other aspects of shape behavior.
- Click OK.
